The Kawasaki Ninja 300 remains the only motorcycle, for which a price hike hasn't been confirmed. The brand will update the revised price list of its motorcycles from the 1st April 2019. The increase in prices of the Kawasaki models is said to be mainly due to the rising cost of raw materials and other input costs as well.

Kawasaki recently launched the Versys 1000 in the Indian market. The 2019 Kawasaki Versys 1000 was first showcased at EICMA last year and is priced at Rs 10.69 lakh, ex-showroom India). The Kawasaki Versys 1000 is also one of the most-affordable litre-class adventure-tourer offering in the Indian market.

This translates to a total discount worth up to Rs 6 lakh.

Kawasaki is also said to be working on its first EV motorcycle. The brand's first set of patent images for their electric motorcycle was leaked online recently. The leaked patent images showcase the initial designs of the Kawasaki EV. The electric motorcycle, however, is still in its very early stages, with no confirmation regarding its entry into the Indian market.

Thoughts On The Kawasaki Price Hike

Kawasaki is one of the most popular motorcycle brand in the country. The company locally manufacture most of their products, allowing them to price it competitively in the market. The hike in prices is part of the rising input costs during manufacturing. The price hike will be implemented from April 2019, with the updated price list on the website from the mentioned date.
