A conventional telescopic fork takes care of suspension up front while twin shocks do the same at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 130mm drum brakes on both ends. If one opts for the disc brake variant, it comes with a 130mm drum brake at the rear and a 240mm disc up front. Both variants now come with CBS.

Thoughts On Honda CB Shine & CB Shine SP CBS

Honda and all other two-wheelers manufacturers in India would have to update their entire model range with CBS or ABS if they intend to continue retailing that particular model in India beyond March 2019. The Honda CB Shine is the best-selling Honda motorcycle in India and is therefore extremely important for the Japanese manufacturer.

Honda till now concentrated on the commuter motorcycle segment in India and has built a pretty strong customer base. The company is now setting its sight on the performance motorcycle segment and will be launching the CB 300R in India on 08 February, 2019.
