Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat Prices Revealed Ahead Of Launch: Costs Around Rs 83,400
Bajaj Pulsar 125 split-seat prices are revealed. The upcoming 125cc variant from the company's Pulsar line-up will be priced at Rs 83,400, On-road (Hyderabad).
The Pulsar 125 split-seat will carry a premium of around Rs 3,500 over the recently launched Pulsar 125 Neon variant. The motorcycle will feature only cosmetic revisions over the neon variant.
The upcoming 125cc motorcycle features a split seats to start with. Other aesthetic changes include the addition of fuel tank cowl, an engine cowl to protect the underbelly, new graphics across the bike, and top it off it gets split grab rails as well.
The upcoming 125cc Pulsar, looks similar to the standard variant of the Pulsar 150cc from Bajaj's line-up. The upcoming 125cc bikes will be launched in phase-wise across the country depending on the demand, the bike is currently available only in Telangana.
The new bike remains mechanically unchanged featuring same set up as the Neon variant. The bike is powered single-cylinder 125cc BS-IV engine, which produces 11.8bhp and 11Nm of torque. The power is sent to rear wheels through a 5-speed gearbox.
Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork up front and twin gas charged shock at the rear. Brakes at the front are handled by a 240mm Diameter Disc and a 130mm Diameter Drum setup at the rear. It features combined braking system as mandated by the government for two-wheelers below 125cc. Both ends get a 17-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres as well.
The signature headlamp cluster featured in the pulsar models, where the pilot lamps splits from the main head-lights was first seen in UG III models back in 2006. This is also the time when company updated the signature taillights, and the semi-digital instrument cluster as well. The setup has been fine-tuned by Bajaj over the years, but more or less remains the same.
Thoughts About The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split-Seat Pricing
The Pulsar 150cc Neon is priced Rs 1,500 more than the upcoming 125cc Pulsar. Bajaj is making sure the commuter segment is filled with multiple options targeting the wide range of buyers in the segment. One would choose the upcoming bike over the 150cc variant only to have a noticeable advantage on the fuel mileage.
