Bajaj Auto Launches Pulsar 150 Range With ABS — The Three Variants Will Continue Stellar Sales
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 ABS has been launched in the Indian market. All variants of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 have been updated with ABS, and prices for the same have been revealed.
According to a report by AutoCar, the Pulsar 150 Neon ABS has been priced at Rs 68,250, the Pulsar 150 ABS at Rs 84,461 and the top-spec Pulsar 150 Twin Disc at Rs 88,339 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The models will only receive ABS as an addition and there are no other mechanical changes. All three variants will continue to be powered by the same air-cooled, 149.5cc, single-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 14bhp and a peak torque output of 13.4Nm.
The Pulsar 150 Neon is the base variant and comes with barely any features. The one design factor that differentiates the Neon from the rest is the neon-coloured grab-rails, 'Pulsar' logo and detailing on the wheels and side panels.
After being equipped with the single-channel ABS system, the Pulsar 150 Neon costs Rs 3,000 more than it did previously. The standard Pulsar 150 ABS looks better than the Neon with its attractive graphics and costs Rs 7,000 more than it it did without ABS.
The top-spec Pulsar 150 twin-disc ABS also costs Rs 7,000 more than it did previously. The Major differentiating factor that sets the twin-disc apart from the other variants is obviously the disc brake at the rear.
The other variants make do with a drum brake at the rear. There has been no update on the Pulsar 150 Classic and this gives us reason to believe that the Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic might be phased out as it is very similar to the Neon in terms of spec and design.
Thoughts On Bajaj Updates Pulsar 150 Range With ABS
Bajaj Auto has updated the Pulsar 150 range with ABS and this will give a boost to the best-selling Pulsar. The Pulsar 150 was the first ever motorcycle under the Pulsar brand and it has been a best-seller right from the start. Now, with the ABS updates, all three variants should continue selling very well.
