2019 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Gets Two New Colours — A Game Of Tones
Japan based motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has introduced two new colour options for the 2019 Ninja 300 - Metallic Moon Dust Grey and Lime Green. We know that the green coloured model has always been on sale, however the Lime Green option features reworked graphics.
The Metallic Moon Dust Grey is an all new colour for Kawasaki. The Grey coloured Ninja 300 features features red highlights instead of the regular ones we see on the green motorcycles.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is now available in a total of four colours - Lime Green, Lime Green / Ebony, Metallic Moon Dust Grey, and Candy Plasma Blue. The two new colour variants however, are sans the large Ninja logo featured on the fairing on the motorcycles with the older colour options. Kawasaki has given them contrasting white stripes instead.
There are no other changes made to the motorcycle. The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 300 continues to feature a 296cc parallel-twin engine that produces 39bhp of power and 27Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission, and features a slipper-clutch as standard.
The motorcycle also features Fine Atomizing Injectors and dual throttle valves, a heat management system, and race derived clutch tech. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 also gets 37mm telescopic front forks, a 5-way adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 290mm disc at the front, and a 220mm disc at the rear. ABS is offered as a standard.
While most models in the Kawasaki line-up have witnesses price hikes because of the fluctuations in currency exchange rates, the Ninja 300 has not been affected. The Ninja 300 is a heavily localized motorcycle meaning prices remain independent of currency trends. Kawasaki is retailing the Ninja 300 at Rs 2.98 lakh ex-showroom (India).
Thoughts About The New Colour Options For The Kawasaki Ninja 300
We think the Metallic Moon Dust Grey looks next level. Shades of black or grey, with red highlights always look good on a motorcycle, especially a performance motorcycle. We are happy that Kawasaki has taken a step to move away from just green Ninjas. Big step for them. And we like it!
