Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally Scooter Teased Ahead Of Launch
The Yamaha Ray ZR is a sporty 110cc scooter from the stable of Japanese two-wheeler maker. Now, it looks like Yamaha is all set to launch a new variant of the Ray ZR in the Indian market. Yes, Yamaha has released a teaser video of a new scooter which looks like a new variant called as the Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally.
In fact, Yamaha had showcased the Ray ZR 110 Street Rally Edition at the Auto Expo 2018 with new sporty graphics and golden alloy wheels. By looking at the scooter in the teaser video, it seems to be the Ray ZR Street Rally. The scooter looks sportier than the standard Ray ZR as it gets some additional design elements.
The Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally will feature cosmetic updates in the form of new decals and is equipped with black alloy wheels. Overall, the Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally looks aggressive and sporty as compared to the standard Ray ZR.
The Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally is also expected to get an all-new digital instrument cluster which was also seen on the showcased model at the Auto Expo. Apart from that the rest of the design elements remains unchanged.
The Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally is likely to draw power from the same 113cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 7.1bhp and 8.1Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox.
The new sporty version of the Yamaha Ray ZR is equipped with a 170mm disc braked up front and drum unit at the rear. The scooter gets telescopic forks at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear. Apart from the cosmetic changes, the Ray ZR Street Rally will be the same in terms of mechanical components.

Yamaha is all set to launch the new variant of the Ray ZR scooter in the Indian market. The new scooter is called as the Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally and will feature several cosmetic updates as compared to the standard model.
