UM Motorcycles launched the Renegade Duty S in India, at the Auto Expo 2018. The UM Renegade Duty S features a rugged cruiser design, and the showcased model was finished in a matte green paint scheme.
The UM Renegade Duty S is a dual purpose motorcycle, meaning it can go on the road and can do little bit of off-roading too. The UM Renegade Duty comes in two variants - S & Ace. That said, here are the UM Renegade Duty S top features you should know:
UM Renegade Duty S Design Features
The UM Renegade Duty S features simple body panels, enough to give it a cruiser look. In other words, the design of the UM Renegade Duty S is just raw. The matte green paint further enhances the raw character of the motorcycle. The motorcycle gets a pair of 7-spoke alloy wheels (17-inch at the front and 15-inch at the rear).
The front forks of the UM Renegade Duty S gets LED strips at the top and reflectors at the bottom. Both of these additions help the UM Renegade Duty S to stay visible in almost all weather conditions.

The rear of the UM Renegade Duty S has a minimal design approach, with a narrow tail lamp and a reflector on top of it. The tail lamp appears more white rather than red, due to it being used also to illuminate the number plate. The seat doesn't get a pillion backrest or a grab rail.
UM Renegade Duty S Riding Features
The UM Renegade Duty S features a rather upright riding position with its centrally-placed footpegs. The raised and moved-back handlebar proves that your palms will be over your elbows while the riding the Duty S. The seat is wide and well-cushioned to give enough riding comfort. With a ground clearance of 180mm, the Duty S can offer decent off-roading capabilities too.
UM Renegade Duty S Safety Features
The Renegade Duty S gets a 280mm disc at front and drum brakes at the rear. The other variant of the Renegade Duty, the Ace, gets a rear 130mm disc brake. Though ABS is not available, the brakes provide enough bite to efficiently bring the bike to a halt.
Other UM Renegade Duty S Features
The single-pod digital+analogue instrument console of the Renegade Duty S features a gear-position indicator too. The LCD display is backlit in blue. The meter also gets a stainless steel panelling.
Thoughts On The UM Renegade Duty S Top Features
The UM Renegade Duty S features a rugged design, with a minimalistic approach. The motorcycle is aimed to give the riders the ability to do some soft off-roading too. The Renegade Duty S can be seen as a good alternative to the Bajaj Avenger series.
