Twenty Two Motors & KYMCO Start New Partnership In India; New Flow Electric Scooter In The Works

Through Ionex, a leading electric powertrain and ecosystem supplier in the world under KYMCO, the two firms aim to "revolutionize the two-wheeler sector in India by establishing a favourable ecosystem for EVs". The companies will be working on making ‘electric', a practical reality for every road user.

With the introduction of Ionex and Ionex Commercial, consumers, businesses and governments will be able to smoothly adoptpremium electric mobility solutions. As a start, the new Twenty Two Motors Flow electric scooter will employ an Ionex battery — removable, lighter and water-proof. The battery can be full-charged in less than an hour and the scooter will have a fixed reserve battery on board. This enables riders to go for an extra 20 kilometres even if the main battery is drained out.
