Auto Expo 2018: TVS Zeppelin cruiser concept unveiled. TVS Motor Company has unveiled its first cruiser motorcycle concept named as Zeppelin at the 2018 Auto Expo. TVS calls the Zeppelin concept as a futuristic motorcycle cruiser concept. The overall design of the Zeppelin looks futuristic and classic at the same time.
TVS states that the Zeppelin is a performance cruiser motorcycle which sports a raw metal look and feel. Powering the Zeppelin is a 220cc engine mated to a TVS patented Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) which comes with an e-boost option which starts the motorcycle faster and enhances the performance and delivers best-in-class fuel efficiency.
The TVS Zeppelin concept is also equipped with a 1,200W regenerative assist motor with a 48V Li-iON battery which adds to the powerful performance of the cruiser by adding 20 percent more torque when required. The overall design of the Zeppelin looks futuristic, and the low slung seat adds to the looks of the motorcycle.
The TVS Zeppelin is targeted towards long-distance riders with a sleek metal body finished with matte black and rustic brown colour. The golden colour upside down front forks and the compact headlamp gives the motorcycle a distinct look. The Zeppelin offers an aggressive riding posture which is also comfortable for long rides with lowered bars, front set foot pegs and a two-up seat.
Other key components of the Zeppelin cruiser concept include lightweight tubeless spoke wheels, 41mm USD front forks, monoshock suspension at the rear and dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle gets a belt drive system which offers silent operation, and the ABS ensures the optimum braking performance is delivered in any condition.
The TVS Zeppelin cruiser concept also comes with state-of-the-art features such as full-LED lighting system, first-in-segment smart Bio-key, electronic speedometer, and online connectivity. The motorcycle also features an integrated HD camera to capture the riding adventures on the go.
