Suzuki Intruder 150 FI launched in India. Suzuki Motorcycles India has launched the Fuel Injection (FI) variant of the Intruder cruiser in the country.
The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI is priced at Rs 1.06 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The FI version of the Intruder 150 is dearer by Rs 7,000 as compared to the carburetted variant which is priced at Rs 99,995 ex-showroom (Delhi).
The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018. The fuel injected variant of the Intruder does not get any mechanical or cosmetic changes.
The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI will be available in two colour options: Metallic Oort/Metallic Matte Black No 2, and Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matte Titanium Silver.
The Suzuki Intruder 150 was launched in November 2017 and created a new trend in the entry-level cruiser segment in the Indian market. With the unique design and features, the cruiser was in the limelight when it was introduced in the country.

Now, the Suzuki Intruder 150 comes with Suzuki Advanced Fuel Injection Technology which includes six sensors calculating the optimum amount of fuel required for better combustion. The Suzuki Intruder FI provides accurate throttle response throughout the power band.
The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI draws power from the same 154.9cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel injected engine producing 14bhp and 14Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The power figures are identical to the carburetted version of the Intruder 150.
The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI comes loaded with features such as projector headlamp with position lamp, digital instrument cluster, LED tail light, dual-port exhaust muffler and bucket-style seat.
The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI is equipped with telescopic forks up front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Bringing the cruiser to a halt are the disc brakes at both the ends with single-channel ABS for the front disc.

The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI will deliver crisp throttle response and better fuel economy as compared to the carburetted version. The power figures and the design and mechanical components remain the same.
The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI will rival the likes of Bajaj Avenger Street 180, Avenger Street 220 and the Avenger Cruise 220. But the Avenger series does not get fuel injection technology.
