Suzuki Burgman Street Launched In Bangalore; Priced At Rs 70,105
Suzuki Burgman Street launched in Bangalore: Japanese two-wheeler maker Suzuki launched the 125cc Burgman Street scooter in India on July 19, 2018. Now, the Suzuki Burgman Street has been launched in Bangalore with a price tag of Rs 70,105 ex-showroom (Bangalore).
The Suzuki Burgman Street is India's first maxi-scooter, and it was first unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018. The Burgman Street features Suzuki's European style design and features a muscular and aggressive design as compared to the other scooters sold in the Indian market.
The Suzuki Burgman Street gets a muscular front apron and the handlebar design is also unique. The scooter also gets a small windscreen and the overall design is similar to the international Burgman series. The seat is spacious and features a slightly stepped-up design.
The Suzuki Burgman Street comes with premium features such as fully digital instrument cluster, apron-mounted LED headlight, multi-function key slot, mobile charging socket, storage space behind the front apron and underseat storage space of 21.5-litres.
The sporty scooter gets a fuel tank capacity of 5.6-litres and the kerb weight of the Suzuki Burgman Street stands at 108kg.
The Suzuki Burgman Street is powered by the existing 124.3cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.5bhp and 10.2Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to a CVT gearbox. The Suzuki Access 125 is also underpinned by the same frame and utilises the same engine.
The Suzuki Burgman Street is equipped with Nissin disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear. The scooter gets CBS (Combi-Brake System) as standard. The scooter is shod with 12-inch and 10-inch five-spoke alloy wheels at the front and rear, respectively. The Burgman Street features telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic type single shock absorber at the rear.
The Suzuki Burgman Street will be offered in three colour options: Metallic Mat Fibroin, Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Mirage White. The Burgman Street will be produced in India and will be exported to more than 30 countries.
