Royal Enfield Trials Bullet 350 And 500 Images Leaked Online — Launch Expected In 2019
Royal Enfield Trials Bullet motorcycle images have leaked online, suggesting an India launch sometime in 2019. The Royal Enfield Bullet Trials have also been spotted testing on the streets recently.
The new Trials Bullet model draws inspiration from the company's famous HNP 331 - a Royal Enfield Trials Bullet 350 of the 1950s, which won more than 50 championships. trial bikes of the early 1950s.
According to Gaadiwaadi, the new Trials model will be available in two variants: Bullet Trials 350 and Bullet Trials 500. As seen from the images, both motorcycles will come with a number of changes compared to the standard Bullet model.
Changes on the Trials Bullet include a red painted (or olive green) motorcycle frame, single seat, luggage rack, upswept exhaust pipes, vintage spoked wheels, knobby tyres and high-clearance between the rear mudguard and wheel, allowing for longer suspension travel.
Apart from this, the Trials Bullet model also sports a good amount of chrome all around the motorcycle. Most noticeable being the completely chromed out fuel tank.
Although not much information is available at this point, we can expect the Trials Bullet to carry forwards the same mechanicals (gearbox and engine) as seen on the standard Bullet model.
The 350 model comes with a 346cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 19.8bhp and 28Nm of torque. The 500 model, on the other hand, comes with a 499cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine churning out 27.2bhp and 41.3Nm of torque. Both engines are further mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The suspension duties on the standard Bullet model are handled by telescopic front forks and twin-spring coils at the rear. This is also said to be carried forward on the upcoming Trials bullet model.
Thoughts On The Royal Enfield Trials Bullet 350 & 500
The Royal Enfield Trials Bullet 350 and 500 models have been spied testing on the streets. The model was first thought to be a scrambler-style motorcycle from the Chennai-based motorcycle brand, however, it is not to be so. Royal Enfield even introduced a Trials model back in 2009 in the United Kingdom. We can expect the new Trials Bullet to come to India sometime next year.
