2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, ZX-10R SE And ZX-10RR Revealed
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has revealed the 2019 edition of the Ninja ZX-10R, ZX-10R SE And ZX-10RR. All the three motorcycles feature updates to the internal components of the engine which improves the overall performance of the 2019 ZX-10R range.
The major update on the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R range is the revised engine components. The 2019 ZX-10R features finger-follower valve actuation system which replaces the tappet system. Kawasaki states that this system reduces the mass by 20 percent.
With the finger-follower valve actuation system the engine can rev-up faster and the engine will be stress-free even on high rpm. The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10R SE now produce 200bhp which is an increase by 3bhp. The power output of the ZX-10RR has been bumped by 4bhp and now stands at 204bhp.
The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR gets titanium connecting rods which are lighter and the rev-limit has been increased by 600rpm. Apart from the upgrades to the engine components, the overall design of the 2019 ZX-10R range remains the same.
The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R now comes with bi-directional quick shifter as standard and gets a new Lime Green/Ebony/Metallic Graphite Grey colour option. The 2019 Ninja ZX-10R SE also gets self-healing paint which is also seen on the 2019 H2 range.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and the ZX-10RR are assembled in India and the bikes carry a price tag of Rs 12.80 lakh and Rs 16.10 lakh, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi). The 2019 edition of the ZX-10R range might be launched in the Indian market with a slightly increased price tag.

The 2019 avatar of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, ZX-10R SE And ZX-10RR gets updates under the skin which also improves the overall performance. On the design front, the 2019 ZX-10R range sports the same design as the 2018 model. We expect Kawasaki to introduce the 2019 ZX-10R in the Indian market in the coming months.
