Mahindra Mojo UT300 teased: Mahindra has teased the new Mojo UT300 ahead of its launch in the Indian market.

Mahindra is all set to launch the low-cost variant of its flagship sports tourer Mojo named as Mojo UT300. We have already reported about the bike being spotted at a dealership. Now, Mahindra has officially teased the Mojo UT300 through its social media channels, which hints that the launch is around the corner.

The teaser reveals the overall design of the Mahindra Mojo UT300 which overlaps with the urban and rural landscape. The teaser suggests that the Mojo UT300 will be an ideal city commuting machine as well as suitable for long-distance touring.

The Mahindra Mojo UT300 is a cheaper version of the regular Mojo. It misses out on upside down forks, LED DRLs and dual-exhaust pipes. But the overall design remains the same with twin headlamp setup at the front. The bike also gets a wider pillion seat which will improve the comfort on long rides.

The Mahindra Mojo UT300 is equipped with carburettor as opposed to the fuel injection system of the standard Mojo. The Mojo UT300 will draw power from the same 295cc liquid-cooled engine which produces 27bhp and 30Nm of torque on the regular Mojo. Expect a slight drop in power on the Mojo UT300.

The Mahindra Mojo UT300 also does not get the Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres. Instead, the Mojo UT300 will be shod with MRF tyres. The bike misses out on golden accents on the front forks and frame. The Mojo UT300 is also expected to get new colour options.

The Mahindra Mojo UT300 will be equipped with conventional telescopic forks up front and monoshock suspension setup at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both the ends. But Mahindra is unlikely to offer ABS as it is a cheaper version of the sports tourer.

The Mahindra Mojo UT300 is an affordable version of the regular Mojo with cheaper cycle parts. But the overall design of the Mojo UT300 remains the same. Mahindra is expected to launch the Mojo UT300 in the coming weeks with a price tag of around Rs 1.4 lakh ex-showroom. The Mahindra Mojo UT300 will rival the likes of Bajaj Dominar 400 and recently launched Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X.
