Kawasaki Ninja 400 Launched In India; Priced At Rs 4.69 Lakh

Kawasaki Ninja 400 Launched In India. Kawasaki has launched the new fully-faired Ninja 400 in the country with a price tag of Rs 4.69 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The Kawasaki Ninja 400 was first showcased at the 2017 EICMA motorcycle show in Italy.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 draws power from a 399cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine producing 48.3bhp at 10,000 rpm and 38Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is based on the steel trellis frame which aids in superior riding dynamics. The kerb weight of the Ninja 400 stands at 168kg, 6kg less as compared to the Ninja 300.

On the design front, the Kawasaki Ninja 400 features a sharp front end and muscular fuel tank as compared to the outgoing 300cc model. The Ninja 400 also gets new instrument cluster with the premium digital display as compared to the Ninja 300.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is equipped with 41mm telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. It also gets the largest front disc brake in its segment which stands at 310mm and 220mm disc at the rear. ABS is offered as standard.
The new Kawasaki Ninja 400 gets a narrow tail section with LED tail light and new exhaust canister. The Ninja 400 is available in signature green and black colour scheme.
Kawasaki also offers a host of accessories such as pillion seat cowl, helmet lock, radiator screen, tank bag and tank pad.
Thoughts On The Kawasaki Ninja 400
Kawasaki has finally launched the Ninja 400 in the Indian market which will be sold alongside the Ninja 300. The motorcycle gets a new design and will appeal to the Indian buyers. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 will take on the likes of Yamaha YZF-R3, KTM RC390, TVS Apache RR 310 and the Benelli 302R.
