2018 Indian Chieftain Elite Limited Edition Revealed: Indian Motorcycle has revealed the new limited edition variant of the Chieftain Elite.
American motorcycle manufacturer Indian Motorcycle has revealed a new limited edition variant of the 2018 Indian Chieftain Elite. The limited edition model gets several new features which enhance the styling of the cruiser motorcycle and also gets a hand-painted colour scheme.
The Indian Chieftain Elite limited edition model features a new hand-painted colour scheme, 200-Watt audio system, Pathfinder LED headlamp and driving lights and push-button power flare windshield.
The motorcycle also gets billet aluminium rider and passenger floorboards and genuine leather seats.
The new hand-painted colour on the Indian Chieftain Elite limited edition is called as Black Hills Silver which is inspired by the silver mines of the Black Hills in South Dakota. The limited edition variant of the Chieftain Elite also gets smaller hand controls and pinnacle mirrors.

Powering the Indian Chieftain Elite limited edition is the same 1,811cc Thunder Stroke 111 V-twin engine producing 161Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Indian Chieftain Elite also comes with several touring-friendly features.
The Indian Chieftain Elite is equipped with Ride Command 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the smartphone and Bluetooth connectivity. Apart from that, the cruiser features cruise control, remote locking saddlebags, keyless ignition, tyre pressure monitor and ABS.
Indian Motorcycle offers few additional features to personalise the Chieftain Elite. Customers can opt for Thunder Stroke 116 Stage 3 Big Bore kit to add 20 percent more power and 15 percent more torque. You can also add a quick release trunk to match the colour of the motorcycle.
The limited edition variant of the Indian Chieftain Elite will be hand-masked and graphics are done before spray painting them with hands. The entire painting job is done at Indian Motorcycle's custom paint facility in Spearfish, South Dakota.
