Hero Electric Unveils Two New Bicycles And Scooter In India
Hero Electric unveils new bicycle and scooter: Hero Electric has revealed its new scooter, the AXL he-20 and two new bicycles, the A2B Speed and Kuo Boost ahead of uts debut at the Auto Expo 2018.
India's largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Electric has unveiled its three new global products in India ahead of Auto Expo 2018. The newly revealed products include two electric bicycles, the A2B Speed and Kuo Boost and a prototype electric scooter codenamed as AXL HE-20.
Hero Electric will launch these products in 2018 in a phased manner. The company also launched the ‘10 Years Ahead' campaign to mark ten years of manufacturing electric two-wheelers. Over the past decade, Hero Electric has launched 15 electric two-wheelers in India with 65 percent market share in the electric two-wheeler segment.
Coming to the new AXL HE-20 electric scooter, it is powered by a 4,000-watt electric motor which is capable of producing a peak power of 6,000 Watts. The scooter can hit a top speed of 85km/h and will deliver a range of 110km on a single charge. The scooter is equipped with a lithium-ion battery which can be fully charged in around four hours.

The electric scooter also features regenerative braking which improves the performance and charges the battery. The Hero AXL HE-20 also comes with an app with features such as keyless entry, GPS tracking and much more.The scooter will also be connected to the cloud which will help owners to get regular reminders about service.
Hero electric has also unveiled two new bicycles. The first one is the A2B Speed equipped with a 500-watt electric motor which draws power from a 36 Volt battery. The battery lasts for 700 full charge cycles with a riding range of 70km. The A2B Speed electric cycle can reach a top speed of 45km/h.
The second cycle being unveiled is the A2B Kuo Boost which gets a slightly underpowered 350-watt electric motor with a top speed of 32km/h. The lithium-ion battery delivers a range of 60km on a single charge. The electric bicycle has an aluminium frame and weights just 20kg. The A2B Kuo Boost is a foldable electric bicycle.

Hero Electric has been a dominant player in the electric two-wheeler segment in India. The company already retails electric scooters in the country. Now, Hero Electric has revealed its new range of products which will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. The AXL HE-20 electric scooter and the A2B Speed and Kuo Boost bicycles will be launched in a phased manner in 2018.
