Bajaj Auto Launches Avenger FLG Rides 2018-19
India's leading motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj Auto has launched the 2018-19 season of the Avenger FLG Rides. The Bajaj Avenger FLG Rides is a pan-India riding initiative, exclusive to Avenger owners in the country. The rides are conducted all over the country covering some picturesque locations.
The Bajaj Avenger FLG Rides consists of nine iconic destinations which will give the riders a divine liberating experience. With these rides, Bajaj Auto is allowing the customers to live the brand's promise of liberation, termed as ‘Feel Like God'.
Initiated in 2016, the Bajaj Avenger FLG rides received a tremendous response since its launch. The 2018-19 season of the FLG Rides aims to engage the Avenger owners round-the-year with nine long-distance tours ranging from 3 to 13 days. The first FLG Ride will kick-off on July 1, 2018, to Leh.
The Bajaj Avenger FLG Rides 2018-19 consists of serene locations such as Spiti, Kinnaur, Badami, Kutch, Goa, Hampi, Rajasthan, Ooty and Sikkim. All these rides will be held throughout the year and will continue till March 2019. The cost of the rides starts from Rs 6,500 and goes all the way up to Rs 16,000 for the Leh ride.
The Bajaj Avenger FLG Rides are supervised by seasoned riding experts and each ride will be led by a professional rider. The riders will be accompanied by a support vehicle and a certified paramedic with medical equipment. Bajaj Auto bears all the support costs while the riders have to bear the fuel and boarding costs.
The Bajaj Avenger range will be a perfect motorcycle for such long-distance touring. Bajaj Auto recently introduced the 2018 Avenger Cruise 220 and Street 220 and 180. The new Avenger now comes with LED DRLs and new colours.
The Bajaj Avenger Cruise and Street 220 draws power from a 220cc single-cylinder engine producing 18.7bhp and 17.5Nm of torque. The Avenger Street 180 is powered by a 180cc engine developing 15.2bhp and 13.7Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
