The Aprilia Tuono 150 features a design similar to the bigger and powerful Aprilia V4. The Tuono 150 was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018, alongside the RS 150.
The Aprilia Tuono 150 features a semi-faired design and is the naked version of the Aprilia RS 150. Both the Aprilia models were unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018. The Tuono 150 looks similar to the much bigger and 'brutal' Aprilia Tuono V4.
The Tuono 150, as the name suggests, gets a 150cc engine and features the same specifications of the Aprilia RS 150. While the RS 150 offers a much more track-focussed riding experience, the Tuono 150 is aimed to be a rather sporty commuter. But does the Aprilia Tuono 150 tick enough boxes in the features department?
Aprilia Tuono 150 Design Features
The Aprilia Tuono 150, as mentioned earlier, features a design similar to the much bigger and powerful Aprilia Tuono V4. The iconic Aprilia triple-headlamps have been carried over the Tuono 150 too. While at first glance, the headlamp unit looks similar to the RS 150, a keen observer will notice the subtle variations in the front design.
The exposed Aluminium frame and the engine, have managed to give the Aprilia Tuono 150 a raw character. The Tuono 150 also features an underbelly exhaust system, which keeps the looks and weight distribution of the Aprilia, in check.

Although the LED tail lamp is the same as in the Aprilia RS 150, the tail-section has an entirely new design. A lean number-plate holder and the absence of a rear mudguard give the Aprilia Tuono 150, an agile look.
Aprilia Tuono 150 Riding Features
The Aprilia Tuono 150 gets the same 40mm USD front forks and rear adjustable-monoshock as in the RS 150. The 17-inch alloy wheels, wrapped with a set of Mitas Tyres, gives decent grip and cornering capabilities to the Tuono 150.
Being a naked motorcycle, the Aprilia Tuono 150 gets a comparatively upright riding position with the slightly raised and moved-back handlebar. With the optional quick-shifterand a light Aluminium perimeter frame, the Aprilia Tuono 150 will be an agile motorcycle.
Aprilia Tuono 150 Safety Features
The Aprilia Tuono 150 features a 300m disc at the front and a 218mm disc at the rear. The Tuono 150 also comes with a single-channel front ABS unit.
Aprilia Tuono 150 Colours
When launched in India, the Aprilia Tuono 150 is expected to come in three colour options - Red Energy (the one shown), Silver Energy, and Dark Energy. All the trims get ‘Aprilia' and ‘A' decals on it.
Other Aprilia Tuono 150 Features
The naked version of the Aprilia RS 150 gets the same digital+analogue instrument console and is finished with a carbon background graphics. The console displays all the basic information, plus gets a trip master, battery voltage, stopwatch (with a 20 lap memory). It also gets an ABS indicator light.

The Aprilia Tuono 150 is an awesome motorcycle to say the least. A design inspired from the bigger Aprilia Tuono V4, and the raw nature of naked motorcycle, makes the Tuono 150, a good buy. At the Auto Expo 2018, both the Aprilia RS 150 and the Tuono 150 received an overwhelming response from the crowd. If the Aprilia Tuono 150 is launched in India with a reasonable price tag, it will surely top the list of affordable naked motorcycles in India.
