MotoGP Announces Provisional 2018 Calendar
MotoGP has announced the provisional calendar for the 2018 season.
MotoGP has announced the provisional calendar for the 2018 season. The season has been expanded to 19 races with the inclusion of Thailand GP.
The newly included Thailand GP will be held at Chang International Circuit which will host a race till 2020. The addition of Thailand has not altered the season, and it remains identical to this year's calendar with just a few minor tweaks.
As usual the 2018 season kicks-off in Qatar. But the major issue is the British Grand Prix as the circuit is yet to be decided. Dorna Sports will have to choose between the Donington Park and Silverstone.

But Dorna Sports is expected to go in favour of Donington Park as the track surface is better than Silverstone as Formula One cars do not race at Donington.
The final round of the championship will be held in Valencia at the Ricardo Tormo circuit. The season finale will be a week later compared to the previous years, on November 18, 2018. The 2019 season will kick-off just two days later with the first test being scheduled on November 20, 2018.

The 2018 MotoGP calendar does not bring any significant changes to the top tier of the motorcycle racing. The only new round is the Thailand GP. But there are uncertainties regarding the British GP as the circuit is not yet finalised.
