Benelli Leoncino India Launch Details Revealed
Benelli is all set to launch the Leoncino scrambler motorcycle in India.
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Benelli is all set to introduce the Leoncino scrambler in India. Autocar India reports that the retro-style naked motorcycle will be launched in the country by February 2018.
Previously, the Benelli Leoncino was slated to be launched in 2017. Currently, the motorcycle is undergoing an endurance test for ARAI certification which will be completed by January 2018.
The Benelli Leoncino was recently spotted on the Indian roads with camouflaged livery. The motorcycle will enter the Indian market through CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route and will be assembled in the country to keep the price in check.
DSK-Benelli has confirmed that India will not get the off-road variant of the Leoncino and it will be considered only on the basis of demand. The Leoncino is likely to be priced lower than the Harley-Davidson 750 which is priced at Rs 5.14 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
