Ducati To Launch XDiavel Cruiser In India On September 15
Ducati is launching every international offering into the Indian market. Now, Ducati India will launch their XDiavel cruiser motorcycle on September 15, 2016. Both variants of the cruiser motorcycle will be introduced in India - XDiavel and XDiavel S.
At the time of launch, Ducati is likely to price its XDiavel at Rs. 14.5 lakh ex-showroom. The XDiavel S will be a premium offering and could bear a price tag in excess of Rs. 16 lakh ex-showroom. All prices mentioned here are estimated and would be confirmed at the time of launch.
Powering the XDiavel and XDiavel S is a 1,262cc, Testastretta L-Twin, liquid cooled engine. This engine produces 155bhp, along with 129Nm of torque, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Ducati has equipped these cruiser with single-sided swing arm and a belt drive to deliver power to the rear wheel.
In terms of safety, Ducati will equip the XDiavel models with traction control, ride modes, cornering ABS, and launch control. The XDiavel cruiser will also feature cruise control, full LED lighting, and backlit handlebar switches.
