Ducati Steals Pole Position For 2016 Malaysian GP In Tricky Conditions
Ducati and Andrea Dovizioso has managed to secure pole position for 2016 Malaysian GP. Andrea Dovizioso is closely followed by the Factory Yamaha riders, who are expected to be strong tomorrow.
Andrea Dovizioso and Ducati Factory outfit have stolen pole position at the 2016 Malaysian GP. The Italian rider set the fastest lap in the very beginning on a rain-drenched track. No other MotoGP rider could match Dovizioso's pace and secured pole with relative ease.
Movistar Yamaha riders traded lap times for second and third place respectively. In the end, Valentino Rossi found a small advantage over Jorge Lorenzo. For the 2016 Malaysian GP, Rossi lines up in second followed by Lorenzo in third place.
Marc Marquez did not create any impression on the top three qualifiers. The Repsol Honda rider for the first time seemed content with fourth fastest lap time. It will be interesting to see what strategy Marquez deploys from the second row.
Australian GP winner, Cal Crutchlow fell down during qualifying. The British rider got back on his bike and managed to set a lap time which was good for fifth place. Crutchlow was closely followed by the returning Andrea Iannone who fought valiantly for sixth place.
2016 Malaysian GP will be contested on October 30th, at 12:30 IST. Stay tuned for updates from the race and do share your opinion in the comment section, as to who you expect will win tomorrow?
