Triumph Bookings In Bangalore And Hyderabad Now Open
Triumph Motorcycles, which launched its range of two wheelers on November 28, 2013, in India has started accepting bookings in the cities of Bangalore and Hyderabad. What's interesting is that dealers in these cities are yet to inaugurate their showrooms. The one in Bangalore is expected to open shop by the third week of January.
Interested buyers in Mumbai and New Delhi, however, will have to wait a couple of weeks more to book their favourite Triumphs. The British manufacturer will start delivering the motorcycles by the end of the month.

Triumph Motorcycles will sell 10 model in India, 6 of which will be assembled locally. These are the Bonneville, Bonneville T100, Daytona 675 R, Street Triple, Speed Triple and Thruxton. These models range from INR 5.7 lakhs for the Bonneville to INR 11.4 lakhs for the Daytona 675 R.
The Rocket III Roadster, Tiger Explorer, Tiger 800 XC and Thunderbird Storm models will be sold as completely built units, with the Rocket being the most expensive at INR 20 lakhs.
The Bonneville and the Street Triple are likely to be the best sellings models, while the Daytona 675R could turn out to be a flop since potential buyers have the option of buying a liter class bike for the price of INR 11.4 lakhs which is what Triumph is asking for the sub-liter class model.
Triumph is also developing a 250cc class model based on the Daytona and the Street that will be built in India. Stay tuned for more details concerning the developments of Triumph India.
