Photon Scooter By Hero Electric Launched In India
India's largest two wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has an electric vehicle division called Hero Electric. They have launched a new and trendy electric scooter. Hero Electric has christened its new electric scooter as the 'Photon'.
Hero Electric explains that its electric scooter, the Photon will be available in every metro city across India. The electric scooter has been priced at INR 52,790 in Maharashtra. The Photon is among Hero Electrics High Speed range of scooters.

The Photon by Hero Electric will have a top speed of 45 km/h, and will also have incredible range. The electric scooter boasts of 80 km range in Economy mode, while in Power mode it provides a decent range of 50 km on a single charge.
The Photon sports telescopic front suspension, disc brakes in the front, anti-theft alarm and a high strength steel chassis. It will also feature a high torque controller and will have two modes Power and Economy.

Hero Electric has spent a lot of time in R&D and it is evident in the aerodynamic design of the Photon. We like this electric scooter because it looks like a every other scooter. It has a polycarbonate headlamp for clear and wide night vision.
The Photon electric scooter requires registration, unlike other electric vehicles that have no requirements. Hero Electric have provided a VRLA 33 AH/48V battery, which has an output of 1500 W BLDC. It is currently available only in black colour.
Hero Electric has done a great job with its Photon electric scooter. It is priced aggressively at INR 52,790 in Maharashtra. The Indian manufacturer is taking the right step forward into the future and is building itself as a potential electric vehicle manufacturer from India.
