Lotus C-01 Motorcycle Ready For Production
Many of you must have slight inclination about Lotus stepping into the two wheeler industry. Their concept bike C-01 to us looked like a easy ride cruiser.
Now we have images of the production ready model and nothing much has changed from its concept stage. Which is a good sign for people who liked the concept.
The bike has been designed with inputs from Colin Chapman, Lotus head designer. However, the bike is opposite to their basic philosophy of adding lightness.

The Lotus C-01 has its own cool factor and may not appeal to all.
The bike is really not built by Lotus, a German racing firm Kodewa and tuner Holzer Group, have licensed the name Lotus.
It is designed by Daniel Simon, who has worked priorly with Bugatti, Volkswagen and created Tron Light Cycles.
The Lotus C-01 is expected to roll-out within the next two months.

Lotus C-01 Design
The C-01 follows cruiser type styling and looks bulky and big from every angle. It features a solo seat matched with a chin to tank riding posture. However, it looks aerodynamically efficient.
Lotus C-01 Engine And Other Details
The engine within the bike is a tuned up machinery of KTMs 1,195cc V-twin mill, it will generate 200hp of power. The chassis is a mix of steel, titanium and carbon fibre. All these make it a good bike on a straight however, it will weigh close to 400 pounds.

The bike will sport British pride colors adorning racing green and yellow highlight. This was the color used to distinguish British race vehicles back in the good old days.

The classic black and gold paint scheme will also be available. These are the same colors, currently over Lotus F1 cars. This has a dark and bad boy look.
