The Castrol-Triumph Agreement For India
There are loads of new agreements, partnerships and deals that go on in the automobile industry every day. Rarely as spectacular as two iconic brands like Castrol India and Triumph Motorcycles UK coming together though. These two giants have signed for partnership in India.

According to the agreement, Castrol India will be sole engine oil supplier for Triumph motorcycles in the country. In return, both will jointly promote the British motorcycles here in India. Castrol will also support them technologically for developing future models.

Castrol India's managing Director, Mr Ravi Kirpalani said it was natural for two iconic brands to tag up as Triumph is establishing themselves in India. He added saying since Castrol has been here for over a hundred years, they are very happy to offer Triumph the support needed for marketing.
Commenting on the same occasion, Mr. Vimal Sumbly said he was extremely happy to tie up with a brand like Castrol who is the Managing Director of Triumph Motorcycles India. He also said that Triumph is committed to give India a complete riding experience and the partnership will only make that commitment stronger.
Castrol and Triumph together have also attempted to break the world record for the fastest streamlined motorcycle. Producing over a 1000 bhp, they will attempt to launch this rocket on the salt flats in Bonneville. The Triumph Rocket, is looking for a 400-plus mph run into the record books.
Triumph Tiger series
The Tiger series are adventure bikes. Two versions are available: an 800 cc, 95 PS and the bigger 1215 cc version, producing 137 PS. Both bikes have an inline 3-cylinder, liquid cooled engine.
The Classic Range
There are three models available, the iconic Bonneville, Bonneville T100 and the Thruxton. The 865 cc, air-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine produce 68 PS of maximum power. The classic bikes are well suited for everyday use.
Road use
The Triumph Street Triple comes in two versions as well. The smaller 675 cc engine produces 106 PS and the bigger 1050 cc, puts out 135 PS. These bikes are powered by a liquid cooled, inline 3-cylinder motor.
Sport
The Daytona is the flagship model for Triumph. This bike has an inline 3-cylinder, liquid cooled, 675 cc engine which has a peak power of 128 PS. The bike is available with optional ABS as well.
Touring
Triumph offers two great bikes for those who love long rides. The Thunderbird Storm has a parallel twin, liquid cooled motor producing 98 PS. The second bike on offer is the monstrous Rocket 3. This beast has an inline 3-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that produces 148 PS.
