Young Man Takes Joyride On Car’s Bonnet; Gets Reported With Video
A young person is seen holding onto the bonnet of a Hyundai i10 while it was being driven rashly on the streets in the residential area.
According to accident surveys, nearly 55 road accidents occur and 17 people die in them every single hour in India and this number is only growing. While most accidents happen by mistake or occur due to negligence, some are caused because of stupidity and disregard for the society.
The people involved in this video are the perfect example of such disregard towards the society. Recorded by a resident of HSR Layout, near Oxford College, Bangalore, this video shows a few people driving recklessly in the residential area.

While it does look like a fun thing to do, it wasn't the right thing to do, especially given that this was a residential area. It was dangerous both for the person doing the stunt as well as for those living in the area. The situation could have easily gotten out of hand if a kid ran across the road all of a sudden.
According to the resident, this is an everyday scene in Sector 4 of HSR Layout, near Oxford College in Bangalore. The person who did not wish to be named stated that there were some elements of the society who were treating the roads in the area as racetracks, zipping about without a care in a world.
We're sure this is not the case only in HSR Layout and definitely not just in Bangalore. There exist many such people who call themselves riders/drivers and think they are the best at handling their vehicles, but they end up stunting and driving/riding dangerously on public roads.
While we at DriveSpark do appreciate someone who can handle their vehicle well, we do not appreciate and definitely do not endorse someone who performs stunts on public roads just for the sake of it.
DriveSpark Thinks!
Those who do this are not just doing it illegally, but are acting irresponsibly and are a nuisance to society. Such elements of the society need to be exposed and the best way to do it is through the media.
If you do find any irresponsible elements of the society stunting on the streets and riding rashly, do film them or capture them and send it over to [email protected] and we will make sure it reaches the Police.
