Hero MotoCorp Collabs With Hemanth Muddappa: Together To Promote Drag Racing Culture In India
Hero MotoCorp and 9-Time National Drag Racing Champion, Hemanth Muddappa collaborate to promote the Drag Racing culture in India.
For this, Hero MotoCorp has made Hemanth Muddappa the new brand ambassador for the Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle in India.
With this new announcement, both parties will promote Drag Racing in India by promoting the XDrags Drag Racing event in India. Speaking about the event, more than 16 XDrag events have been hosted by Hero MotoCorp and Mr Hemanth Muddappa.
Speaking about the occasion, Mr Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Growth Officer, Hero MotoCorp said, "We are delighted to welcome Hemanth as a new addition to our team. We heartily congratulate him for his recent wins. Muddappa's presence bolsters our commitment to the advancement of drag racing culture in India, which hasn't been fully explored so far. Drag racing is the shortest and quickest form of motorsports and the Hero Xtreme 160R, the fastest to 0-60 km/h in its segment, is a perfect fit for this racing format."

Speaking about the Hemanth Muddappa, the nine-time National Drag Racing Champion recently set the National record and won the National Championship in top-two classes at the third and final round of MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Drag Racing Championship held at the Madras Motor Race Track.
These record-breaking runs helped Muddappa clinch double gold and seal the 2021 Drag National title. This made Hemanth Muddappa a nine-time Indian National Drag Champion and his fifth consecutive win at the premier Super Sport 1051cc and above class.
In terms of the numbers, Muddappa clocked a record-breaking 7.749 seconds in his black Suzuki Hayabusa and reached 239.58km/h at the end of the 302-metre Madras Motor Race Circuit. Whereas in the Super Sport 851cc to 1050cc category, Hemanth Muddappa comfortably clinched the title and set yet another record with a time of 7.755 seconds.
