Driver Miraculously Escapes Unhurt After Brutal Fiat Punto Abarth Crash

The driver of a Fiat Punto Abarth miraculously escaped unhurt after his hot hatchback was involved in a brutal crash that left it mangled beyond repair.
The accident involving the Fiat Punto Abarth took place on National Highway 2 on last week. According to a post on team-bhp by a friend of the driver, the Punto Abarth was traveling at around 80kph when a truck in switched lanes without indicating.
To avoid colliding with truck, the Punto Abarth's driver had to turn all of a sudden, which in turn caused the car to flip over multiple times before it finally came to a stop after hitting a tree. However, other posts do speculate that the driver may have been travelling at a much higher rate of speed due to the amount of damage the car sustained.
Such was the brutality of the crash, that the engine was pushed out of the car after the front end crumpled to take the impact of the crash, and the drivetrain was dismantled completely as well. Not one panel of the crashed Abarth seems to have escaped unmolested with each section bearing the brunt of the high-impact crash which saw both front wheels separate from the axle.
However, the fact that the driver of the Punto Abarth walked away unhurt from the crash is a testament to the fact that driver was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash along with the sturdy build quality and the safety features of the Fiat hot hatchback.
DriveSpark Thinks!
The brutality of the crash shows just how lucky the driver was to survive. The fact that he escaped unhurt, is a testament to the sturdiness and safety of the Fiat Punto Abarth and is nothing short of miraculous. If this had happened a decade ot two back especially with shoddy safety standards of the time, the driver may have not been so lucky.
