Bentley Continental GT3-R -Images, Details Of The Most Extreme Bentley
Ever since Bentley announced the Continental GT3 race car last year, we had been waiting for a road going version of the same. That day has now arrived, with the announcement of the Bentley Continental GT3-R.
The Continental GT3-R is the most extreme, "most dynamic", " most involving" and the fastest accelerating road legal Bentley ever built and promises to one-up the Continental GT Speed in terms of performance.

The Continental GT3-R is a two seater based on the Continental GT3 race car that combines the performance of the GT racer and traditional luxury of a Bentley road car.
Weighing in at 2194 kg, the car is 100 kg lighter than the GT Speed, thanks to various weight saving methods, derived from the race car.
Also derived from the race car is the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which has been tuned to develop 572 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque from as low as 1,700 rpm.
The engine is coupled to the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, which now features shorter gearing and unlike in the the race car (which is rear wheel driven) the GT3-R's gearbox drives all four wheels.
While not as quick and agile as the race car, the Continental GT3-R can still accelerate quite quickly for such a large car, with a 0-100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 273 km/h.
Combined with all-wheel drive, the GT3-R also features torque vectoring (first time in a road legal Bentley), Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and a chassis that's optimized for quick cornering, giving the car its "dynamic" and "responsive" capabilities.
Exterior features include carbon fiber splitter and a fixed rear wing and two bonnet vents.
The headlamp bezels, grille, window surrounds, side stripes and 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels are all finished in gloss black.
The car wears a Glacier White paint, decorated with two-tone green graphics.
The Continental GT3-R's cabin is done in carbon fibre, Alcantara and leather and features two sports seats.
The sports seats are wrapped in Beluga black leather with green contrasting trim and GT3-R embroidery, and diamond-quilted Alcantara.
The doors feature a similar black and green design, with use of Alcantara and carbon fiber.
The space behind the seats, which does not sport seats, is completed in carbon fiber, leather and Alcantara, once again with the black and green theme.
Only 300 units will ever be made and these will be hand built in Crewe, before being finished by Bentley's Motorsports Division.
Bentley Continental GT3-R will be showcased at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, with deliveries set to begin later this year.
