Upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross To Get ADAS, 6 Airbags & More
It is just a matter of time before the Japanese automotive giant, Toyota launches the Innova Hycross MUV in India.
Now, it has been confirmed that the top-spec variants of the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross model will come equipped with top-tier safety features such as ADAS, and 6 Airbags.
Diving into details, the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross will be equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 active safety features that is already available in many of the Japanese automaker's global products.
The new Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 carries over many features from the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5. However, the performance of these active safety systems has been improved in the newer Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system by improving the detection range of the monocular camera and mm-wave radar.
Furthermore, the new Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 active safety system comprises of features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keep Assist, Lane Departure Alert, Road Sign Assist, Auto High-Beam Assist, Auto Emergency Braking, and more.
Also, the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross will be equipped with other safety features such as 6 Airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, speed warning alert, seat belt reminder, ESC, TC, ISOFIX child seat mounting points, 3 point seat belts, reversing camera, and many more.
In terms of features, the upcoming 2023 Toyota Innova Hycross MUV is expected to come with features such as a large panoramic sunroof, a large infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, connected car tech, dual-zone climate control, USB charging ports, Ottoman-style 2nd-row captain seats, and much more.
Also, the Toyota Innova Hycross will be powered by a hybrid powertrain system consisting of a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated, Atkinson cycle petrol engine and an electric motor. In combined form, this powertrain produces 184.8bhp of peak power and 187Nm of peak torque. Moreover, this hybrid powertrain enables the Toyota Innova Hycross to travel in pure EV mode for a limited distance as well.
