Toyota Hikes Prices Up To Rs 1.85 Lakh - Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Camry & More
Toyota has once again hiked the prices of its cars in India. This time prices have been increased up to Rs 1.85 lakh. Diving into the details, the highest price hike of Rs 1.85 lakh was imposed on the Toyota Vellfire Hybrid luxury MPV. This means the new Toyota Vellfire Hybrid luxury MPV is now priced at Rs 94.45 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Innova Crysta
Toyota Innova Crysta is one of the best-selling MPVs in the country and all diesel variants of the model have received a price hike of Rs 23,000. As such, prices for the diesel variant of the Toyota Innova Crysta MPV now start at Rs 19.13 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the G MT 7-seater variant, whereas the top-spec 'ZX' trim level with automatic transmission is now priced at Rs 26.77 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
In contrast, only the 'GX' trim level of petrol-powered Innova Crysta MPV equipped with manual transmission received a price hike of Rs 23,000.
Interestingly, Toyota is yet to start taking bookings for the diesel-powered Innova Crysta MPVs despite the automaker hiking prices on all diesel variants of the Innova Crysta MPV.

Fortuner
Starting with the petrol variants of the Toyota Fortuner SUV, the Japanese automaker has hiked prices of both manual and automatic transmission variants of the petrol-powered SUV by 19,000. As such, prices for the Toyota Fortuner SUV start at Rs 32.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Apart from that, an identical price hike is also applicable on diesel, 4x2 variants of the Toyota Fortuner SUV. However, the prices for the 4X4 variants of the SUV have jumped by Rs 39,000, and the top-spec automatic variant of the Fortuner SUV now costs Rs 41.22 lakh (ex-showroom, India). On the other hand, prices for the Toyota Fortuner Legender SUV have been increased up to Rs 77,000.

Camry & Vellfire
As mentioned earlier, prices for the Toyota Vellfire luxury MPV have been hiked by Rs 1.85 lakh - The highest price hike among any Toyota model. Moreover, prices for the Toyota Camry Hybrid have also been hiked by Rs 90,000, and the hybrid sedan now costs Rs 45.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

In recent times, Toyota launched a new limited-edition model of its Innova Crysta MPV in India to attract more customers to the showrooms ahead of the ongoing festive season in the country. Moreover, this new limited-edition Toyota Innova Crysta is available in both manual transmission and automatic transmission options.
As part of the new limited-edition pack, the MPV gets a lot more worthy additional features such as a 360-degree camera, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), air purifier, a wireless charger, and a set of illuminated scuff plates with 16-colour illumination. Moreover, it is also worth mentioning that, unlike other automobile manufacturers, Toyota's new limited-edition Innova Crysta will be sold at a regular price as a complimentary package to its customers.
The petrol powertrain in the Toyota Innova Crysta is a 2.7-litre, naturally-aspirated unit with 166bhp of peak power and 245Nm of peak torque. This powertrain can with be specified to either manual or automatic transmission units.
Thoughts About Toyota's Latest Price Hike
Though Toyota has hiked the prices of its models such as Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Camry, and Vellfire, the Japanese automaker thoughtfully excluded more economical models such as Glanza, Urban Cruiser, and Urban Cruiser Hyryder from the price hike.
