Tata Nexon EV Max Launched At Rs 17.74 Lakh With 437km Range - Dialing It Up To The Max
Indian car manufacturer Tata Motors has launched the new Nexon EV Max in India at Rs 17.74 lakhs. The Tata Nexon EV Max brings a range of 437 kilometres on a single charge.

Tata Nexon EV Max Prices & Variants
The Tata Nexon EV Max is offered in two variants - XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. Depending on the charging option chosen by the customer (3.3kW Vs 7.2kW) the prices vary by around Rs 50,000 on each version.
The XZ+ with the 3.3kW charger costs Rs 17.79 lakhs but the same car with the 7.2kW fast AC charger option costs Rs 18.24 lakhs. The XZ+ Lux starts at Rs 18.74 lakhs with the 3.3kW charger while the fast charger option costs Rs 19.24 lakhs.

Tata Nexon EV Max Specs & Powertrain Upgrades
The Tata Nexon EV Max is powered by a new 40.5kWh battery pack that extends the range of the electric SUV to 437 kilometres (ARAI). This is 125 kilometres more than that of the regular Nexon EV which is rated for a 312-kilometre range by the ARAI.
The Nexon EV features a single electric AC motor with 141bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. The Nexon EV Max will sprint from 0-100km/h in under 9 seconds and has a top speed of 140km/h.
Tata Motors is offering multi-mode regenerative braking. There are four different levels of regen braking which range from no regen to a one-pedal mode which allows drivers to drive the new Nexon EV Max with just 1 pedal.
Tata Motors is offering 8 years / 1,60,00 kilometres warranty for both the electric motor and battery pack. The battery and motor are IP67 water and dust resistance
Like its regular Nexon EV siblings, the Nexon EV Max can recharge its battery pack through fast DC charging. The Nexon EV Max can charge its 40.5kWh battery pack from 0 to 80 per cent in just 56 minutes when connected to a fast 50kW DC charger. The battery pack can be fully charged in 6 hours at home with the new 7.2kWh AC charger.
Tata Nexon EV Max Design & Features
In terms of the overall design, the Nexon EV Max is identical to its siblings wearing the Nexon EV badge. The sleek front grille is flanked on either side by projector headlights with LED daytime running lights. There are blue highlights all across the car and the EV MAX brings a new signature colour - Intensi-teal. The other colour options for the Nexon EV Max are Daytona Grey and Pristine White. Dual-tone colour options will be offered as standard.
The Nexon EV Max comes packed with 30 new features compared to the regular Nexon EV. Some of these features include the aforementioned multi-level regen braking along with others like a jewelled control knob with active mode display, the all-new Makarana beige interiors, leatherette seats with ventilation for front passengers, air purifier, wireless smartphone charging, auto-dimming IRVM and cruise control.
The Nexon EV Max comes packed with safety features including ESP with i-VBAC (intelligent - Vacuum-less Boost & Active Control), Hill Hold, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Vehicle Hold and all 4-Disc brakes.
