Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition Reaches Dealerships: Gets Fully Digital Instruments & More
The Monte Carlo Edition of the Skoda Kushaq SUV has already arrived at dealerships ahead of the launch. Like any special edition variant, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition features plenty of changes on the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
On the outside, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition gets a blacked-out treatment for a more sporty appeal and as part of this treatment, Skoda has blacked out almost every chrome detailing on the exterior.
However, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is limited to just two exterior colour options. This exterior paint option includes Red, and White. Apart from that, the exterior also features a new set of 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a few 'Monte Carlo' badges.
On the inside, the Monte Carlo Edition of the Skoda Kushaq gets sporty red-black dual-tone upholstery and this dual-tone theme is further carried over to the dashboard, centre console, seats, and infotainment graphics.
However, the biggest change in the upcoming Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is the fully digital instrument cluster borrowed from the Skoda Slavia that replaces the analogue unit.
Apart from these changes and upgrades, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo remains identical to the standard models. However, Skoda is yet to release the price of the upcoming Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition.
Speaking about the Skoda Kushaq SUV, it is a 5-seater SUV built under the brand's 'India 2.0' strategy where Skoda aims to set up a profitable business in the country. Apart from that, the SUV is built on the company's versatile MQB-A0 IN platform.
Apart from that, the Skoda Auto India has managed to achieve almost 93 per cent localisation, which enabled the Czech automaker to price the Kusaq competitively in the segment.
Skoda Kusaq SUV comes with two engine options. The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder. TSI petrol engine produces a respectable 115bhp of peak power and 178Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated either to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
On the other hand, the 1.5-litre TSI engine produces 150bhp of peak power and 250Nm of peak torque. However, the automatic transmission is a more advanced 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The standard variant of the Skoda Kushaq SUV comes well-loaded with features such as a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging pad, touch-sensitive air-con controls, cooled seats, reverse camera, LED headlamps, and a few more.
Safety-wise, the Skoda Kushaq SUV comes with safety systems such as 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, TCS, Electronic Stability Control, multi-collision braking system, hill start assist, hill hold control, TPMS, ISOFIX points, Brake Disc Wiping, Roll Over Protection, Electronic Differential Locking System, and a few more.
