Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition TVC Out
Skoda has released the TVC of the upcoming Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition. This special edition of Skoda Kushaq comes loaded with more features and also comes with a few changes on both the exterior and interior as well.
Looking at the new TVC for the special edition SUV, the most noticeable change on the new Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is the blacked-out treatment it has received over the standard variants.
This blacked-out treatment of the Skoda Kushaq SUV gives the Monte Carlo Edition of the SUV a sportier appeal. Further boosting the sporty appeal is a new set of 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
However, unlike the standard version of the SUV, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is limited to just two exterior colour options - Red, and White.
On the inside, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition features a sportier-looking red-black dual-tone interior. This dual-tone theme not only covers the upholstery but also includes the centre console, seats, dashboard, and infotainment graphics.
Another noticeable change in the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is the fully digital instrument cluster that's been borrowed from the Skoda Slavia sedan. This added feature makes the interior of the new Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition feel a lot more sophisticated.
The new Skoda Kusaq Monte Carlo Edition continues to be powered by the same engine options as the standard variants of the Kushaq SUV. The base engine option continues to be the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, TSI petrol engine with 115bhp of peak power and 178Nm of peak torque.
The next engine option is the 1.5-litre TSI engine with 150bhp of peak power and 250Nm of peak torque.
Like the standard variant, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition continues to be offered with both manual and automatic gearboxes. However, the 1.0 TSI variant features a 6-speed automatic gearbox, whereas the 1.5 TSI variant features a more advanced 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Prices for the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition SUV starts from Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and goes all the way up to Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Speaking about the Skoda Kushaq, the 5-seater SUV is built under Volkswagen Group's 'India 2.0' strategy, where the company aims to set up a profitable business in the country.
Moreover, the standard variant of the Skoda Kushaq SUV comes well-loaded with features such as a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging pad, touch-sensitive air-con controls, cooled seats, reverse camera, LED headlamps, and a few more.
The Skoda Kushaq also comes loaded with safety systems such as 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, TCS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), multi-collision braking system, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX points, Brake Disc Wiping, hill hold control, Roll Over Protection, Electronic Differential Locking System, and a few more.
Thoughts About The Skoda Kusaq Monte Carlo Edition
The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition features numerous changes on both inside and outside and the added feature list is likely to attract more customers to the Skoda showrooms.
