Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition: Here’s What We Know So Far
The upcoming Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition has already reached select dealerships in India ahead of its launch in the country. The Monte Carlo Edition of the 5-seater SUV now features changes on both the exterior and interior as well.
Gets Blacked Out Treatment
One of the most noticeable changes on the upcoming Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is the blacked-out treatment it has received over the standard variants. This blacked-out treatment of the Skoda Kushaq gives the Monte Carlo Edition of the SUV a sportier appeal.
Comes With Just Two Exterior Colour Options
Unlike the standard version of the Skoda Kushaq SUV, the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is limited to just two exterior colour options. This exterior colour choice includes Red, and White.
New Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels
As part of the special edition treatment, the exterior of the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo features a new set of 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that is slightly sportier to look at.
Sporty Dual-Tone Interior
Unlike the standard variants of the Skoda Kushaq, the Monte Carlo Edition of the Skoda Kushaq features a sporty red-black dual-tone interior theme. This dual-tone theme not only covers the upholstery but also includes the dashboard, centre console, seats, and infotainment graphics.
Fully Digital Instrument Cluster
One of the most noticeable change and upgrade over the standard variant of the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition is the fully digital instrument cluster borrowed from the Skoda Slavia that replaces the analogue unit seen in the standard variants of the Skoda Kushaq SUV.
No Changes In Powertrain Options
We do not expect any mechanical changes on the upcoming Skoda Kusaq Monte Carlo Edition and it will continue to come with two engine options as the standard variants of the Kushaq SUV, which includes the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder. TSI petrol engine with 115bhp of peak power and 178Nm of peak torque, and the 1.5-litre TSI engine with 150bhp of peak power and 250Nm of peak torque.

More Details About Skoda Kushaq SUV
The Skoda Kushaq SUV is a 5-seater SUV built under Volkswagen Group's 'India 2.0' strategy, where the company aims to set up a profitable business in the country. As part of this strategy, the new models are built on the company's versatile MQB-A0 IN platform.
Thanks to this platform, Skoda Auto India has managed to achieve almost 93 per cent localisation, which enabled the Czech automaker to price the Kusaq competitively in the segment.
The standard variant of the Skoda Kushaq SUV comes well-loaded with features such as a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cooled seats, wireless charging pad, touch-sensitive air-con controls, reverse camera, LED headlamps, and a few more.
Despite the aggressive pricing, the Skoda Kushaq SUV comes with safety systems such as 6 airbags, multi-collision braking system, ABS, EBD, TCS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), hill start assist, TPMS, ISOFIX points, Brake Disc Wiping, hill hold control, Roll Over Protection, Electronic Differential Locking System, and a few more.
Thoughts About The Skoda Kusaq Monte Carlo Edition
The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition features plenty of changes both inside and outside and the added feature list will definitely attract more customers to the showroom.
