Renault has updated offers for its cars this month ahead of the festive season to capitalise on the sales boom during the festival season in the country.
At present, the French marque retails three models in India - Renault Kwid, Renault Triber, and Renault Kiger. All three models have been well received by the Indian audience.
While Renault was struggling to get traction in the Indian automobile market, the French automaker got its rhythm with the launch of the Renault Kwid in the country. In fact, with the launch of Renault Kwid, the French manufacturer was able to shake things in the entry-level segment.
Though sales gradually reduced over the years, the updated iteration of the Renault Kwid with a more SUV-ish design and more powerful engine option successfully attracted customers back o Renault showrooms across the country.
Now, with much of Kwid's rivals discontinued, Renault can maximise the opportunity by being much more aggressive. For this, Renault is offering offers up to Rs 50,000 in states such as Maharashtra, Kerala and Goa. This includes cash benefit of Rs 35,000, free accessories worth Rs 5,000, and scrappage policy benefits. Customers in the rest of the Indian states can avail benefits up to Rs 45,000.
Coming to the Renault Triber, the sub-4m MPV is sometimes overlooked by many customers. As a result, Renault is offering benefits up to Rs 60,000, which is very hard to be overlooked. This offer is valid in Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, and Gujarat.
The Rs 60,000 benefits includes cash discount up to Rs 45,000, free accessories worth Rs 5,000, and exchange benefits worth Rs 10,000 under the scrappage policy. Meanwhile, customers in other states can get benefits up to Rs 55,000 as well.
However, the same offer is not applicable to the Renault Triber limited edition as customers can only get a maximum benefit of Rs 45,000 in states such as Maharashtra, Goa, and Gujarat. Whereas customers in Kerala can avail benefits up to Rs 35,000, and customers in rest of the states can only avail benefits up to Rs 15,000.
Finally, coming to the Reanult Kiger, the sub-4m SUV turned the tides for the French automaker in India by producing consistent MoM sales figures. Now, in a bid to further improve sales of the sub-4m SUV, Renault is offering discounts up to Rs 25,000 on the Kiger SUV.
Unlike, other models under Renault, the Kiger SUV gets uniform benefits across the states. At present, the offers on Renault Kiger SUV stand at Rs 25,000 which includes a corporate discount of Rs 10,000, scrappage benefits up to Rs 10,000, and free accessories worth Rs 5,000.
Thoughts About Updated Discounts Offered By Renault
This month Renault has been a bit aggressive with its offers and discounts in a bid to further improve its sales figures in the country by capitalising on the upcoming festive season. As a result, we expect a decent increase in terms of sales figures for the French automaker in the country.
