Renault Kiger Crosses 50,000 Production Milestone - New Colour Option Introduced
French carmaker Renault's Kiger SUV has crossed the 50,000 production milestone. To celebrate the achievement, The Renault Kiger has been introduced in a new Stealth Black Shade.
French carmaker Renault's Kiger SUV has crossed the 50,000 production milestone. To celebrate the achievement, a new Stealth Black colour scheme has been introduced for the Renault Kiger.

Renault recently updated the Kiger for the 2022 model year which gave the compact SUV a host of updates. These updates included a new dual tone colour option - Mustard with Mystery Black along with all-new 16-inch alloy wheels, a front faux bash plate, turbo decals for the models with the turbocharged engine and more chrome at the back.
The interior was also updated with a red fade accent for the dash and quilted embossed upholstery for the seats with red stitching. The Kiger compact SUV also got a new PM2.5 Advanced Atmospheric Filter as standard along with new optional equipment like cruise control and a wireless phone charger.
For the 2022 Model Year, Renault is offering the Kiger's RXT (O) variant with the 1.0-litre turbocharged engine with both manual and CVT gearbox options. The turbocharged 999cc, three-cylinder petrol engine produces 99bhp at 5,000rpm and 160Nm of peak torque at 2,800rpm. The turbocharged Kiger offers a mileage of 20.53km/l.
A naturally aspirated version of the same 999cc, three-cylinder engine is offered with the Kiger. This engine produces 71bhp at 6,250rpm and 96Nm of peak torque 3,500rpm. The engine is offered with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox options. The naturally aspirated Kiger returns a maximum mileage of 19.17km/l.
The Kiger was recently tested by Global NCAP and received a 4-star safety rating from the international car safety body. Renault offers the Kiger SUV with up to 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX anchors for child seats, speed sensing door locks and parking sensors among others.
