New BMW X3 Launched In India: Prices Start From Rs 59.90 Lakh
BMW has launched the new BMW X3 in India and it is available in two trims. Prices for the new BMW X3 starts from Rs 59.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The latest update to the BMW X3 adds refreshed looks and a few more equipment to the feature list.
Exterior
From the front, the new BMW X3 looks a bit more sporty with its redesigned kidney grille and flatter headlights. The new kidney grille is now slightly larger and comprises of a single-piece frame.
The flatter looking headlights now feature adaptive LED headlights with Matrix function and the black border gives the LED rear lights with narrower light graphic gives the new BMW X3 more futuristic looks.
In the M Sport package, the redesigned front apron features slightly larger air intakes with a gloss black finish. The M Sport package also adds a sportier-looking rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. The M Sport trim also includes the new 19-inch Y-Spoke 887M alloy wheels. However, 20-inch M alloy wheels are also available with the new BMW X3 M Sport package as an early bird offer.
Interior
The interior of the new BMW X3 with M Sport package adds some exclusive interior packages such as sport seats, Sensatec perforated upholstery, M leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons, and a sporty looking M interior trim.
Other features on the new BMW X3 includes a panoramic glass roof, a welcome light carpet, new electroplated trim elements on the air vents and many more.
The boot of the new BMW X3 has a capacity of 550 litres and can be further expanded to 1600 litres by folding down the 40/20/40 split rear seats.
Engine & Transmission
Powering the new BMW X3 is a BMW TwinPower 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This engine produces 252bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Apart from that, the new BMW X3 comes with an 8-speed automatic Steptronic transmission and differential locks as standard.
Thanks to the xDrive all-wheel-drive system, and the exceptional power and torque figures, the new BMW X3 can accelerate from a standstill to 100km/h in just 6.6 seconds and onto a top speed of 235 km/h.
Features
As part of the update, the BMW X3 comes with features such as gesture control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a large 12.3-inch instrument cluster with 3D navigation, parking assistant plus with 360-degree camera, 464W Harman Kardon Surround Sound system with 16 speakers, and many more.
The new BMW X3 also comes with Adaptive Suspension with its individual electronically controlled dampers, Auto Start-Stop function, Brake-Energy Regeneration and a few more.
Safety
The new BMW X3 comes with advanced safety features such as Electronically controlled 'Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks' (ADB-X), Dynamic Traction Control' (DTC), Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control.
Other safety systems include features such as airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounting and many more.
