Mahindra recently commenced the deliveries of the Scorpio N SUV in India and a few customers have already started sharing a few complaints regarding the reliability of the SUV. Just a few days ago, a customer shared a problem that is related to the clutch of her day-old Scorpio N SUV.

The video of this incident was posted on Twitter and the video shows that the clutch pedal of the SUV has sunk to the floor and the customer is unable to shift gears as a result. The video also shows the user using her feet to pull the clutch from the floor. However, the effort seems to be in vain.

Now just a few days after that incident, another video has surfaced online where the Scorpio N SUV seems to have a problem with the cooling of the powertrain as the SUV showed a warning of overheating of the powertrain on the dashboard. According to the Instagram post shared by Anshuman Bishnoi, the newly purchased Mahindra Scorpio N SUV is overheating and the coolant has vanished as well.

This latest incident happened yesterday and since the problem occurred on a public holiday, the user could not get the vehicle fixed at a nearby Mahindra service centre.

Diving into the details, Mahindra has prioritised the deliveries of the top-spec Scorpio N 'Z8 L' variant of the SUV and the automaker is planning to deliver around 25,000 units of Scorpio N SUV by the end of this year. Also, the automaker has received more than 1 lakh bookings for the Scorpio N SUVs in India and the booking amount for the SUV is currently capped at Rs 21,000.

The introductory prices for the Mahindra Scorpio N SUV started from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base 'Z2' variant with the petrol engine and manual transmission. On the other hand, the top-spec 'Z8L' trim with a diesel engine, an automatic gearbox, and a 4WD system is priced at Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

It is also worth mentioning that the new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV is available in 7 different exterior colour options and this includes Napoli Black, Everest White, Deep Forest, Royal Gold, Red Rage, Dazzling Silver, and Grand Canyon.

The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N SUV comes with two engine options - One petrol engine and one diesel engine. However, unlike the petrol engine, the diesel engine is available in two states of tune. While the base diesel engine produces 130bhp of peak power and 300Nm of peak torque from its 2.2-litre turbocharged engine, the higher spec model produces 172.5bhp of peak power and 400Nm of peak torque.

However, the peak torque in the top-spec diesel with the 6-speed manual transmission is limited to just 370Nm. Coming to the petrol engine option, the 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine puts out a mammoth 200bhp of peak power and 370Nm of peak torque. Apart from that, gearbox option includes both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.
