2022 Mercedes C-Class Variants & Price List

The 2022 Mercedes C-Class is offered in three variant types - C 200, C 200d and the C 300d. The C 200 is the only petrol offering and is priced at Rs 55 lakhs. The C 200d and C 300d are offered with diesel powerplants. and cost Rs 56 lakhs and Rs 61 lakhs respectively.

2022 Mercedes C-Class Specs & Dimensions

The 2022 Mercedes C 200 is offered with a 1.5-litre (1,496cc) turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 201bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. The C 200 sprints from 0-100km/h in 7.3 seconds and returns a mileage of 16.9km/l.

The C 200d is powered by a 2.0-litre (1,996cc) turbodiesel engine that cranks out 197bhp and 440Nm of peak torque. The C 200d sprints from 0-100km/h in 7.3 seconds and returns a best-in-class mileage of 23km/l.

The C 300d is the most powerful offering in the 2022 Mercedes C-Class lineup. The C 300d is powered by the same engine as the C 200d. However, under the bonnet of the C 300d, the 1,996cc turbodiesel engine produces 261.5bhp and 550Nm of peak torque. The C 300d sprints from 0-100km/h in 5.7 seconds and returns a mileage of 20.37km/l.

All three variants are offered with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and a 48V integrated starter generator (ISG). The ISG system adds 20bhp and 200Nm of peak torque.

The new 2022 Mercedes C-Class (W206) is 4,751mm long, 1,820mm wide and 1,438mm tall. The wheelbase of the 2022 C-Class is 2,865mm long.

Mercedes claims the 2022 C-Class is 65mm longer, 10mm wider and features a 25m longer wheelbase and 7mm higher ground clearance compared to its predecessor (W205). The increased wheelbase adds 21mm legroom at the rear of the new C-Class

2022 Mercedes C-Class Design & Features

Dubbed the 'baby S-Class' by its admirers, the 2022 C-Class takes its design inspiration from the larger S-Class limousine. At the front, the new C-Class features sleek LED headlights flanking the grille with the large Mercedes badge taking centre stage.

The 300d features the AMG-line version of the grille which adds a host of tiny Mercedes badges. The 300d also features a more aggressive front bumper. Also seen are small bulges on the bonnet (dubbed powerdomes by Mercedes) which gives the new C-Class a muscular look.

At the sides, the C 200 and C 200d feature 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels while the C 300d sits on 18-inch AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, the sleek two-piece LED tail lights.

Step inside the new C-Class and you'll be greeted by an interior straight out of the bigger S-Class. The flat-bottom steering wheel sits in front of the 12.3-inch driver's information display while the 11.9-inch vertically stacked infotainment display with the latest MBUX setup takes pride of place at the centre of the cockpit. Also seen are panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting.

The interior is offered in Sienna Brown, Black and Macchiato Beige upholstery for the C 200 and 200d. The C 300d is offered in either black or a two-tone Sienna Brown/Black upholstery options.

The new C 200 and C 200d are offered in six different colour options - Salatine Grey, Mojave Silver, High-tech Silver, Manufaktur Opalite White, Cavansite Blue and Obsidian Black. The C 300d is limited to just three colour options - Manufaktur Opalite White, Cavansite Blue and Obsidian Black.

The new Mercedes C-Class is offered with a host of safety features including 8 airbags, ABS with EBD, Traction Control, Attention Assist with Active Brake Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Steering Assist, Active Lane-Keeping Assist, Adaptive Highbeam Assist and Anti Whiplash among others.
