Coming back to the Mahindra Atom, the quadricycle was recently spotted testing wearing heavy camouflage near Bangalore. Moreover, thanks to its compact dimensions and boxy design, the upcoming Mahindra Atom is likely to be an excellent choice for urban runabouts.

In addition to that, the Mahindra Atom has been homologated, hinting that the automaker is likely to launch the quadricycle very soon in the Indian automobile market.

As per the leaked document, the upcoming Mahindra Atom electric quadricycle will be available in 4 different variants - Atom K1, Atom K2, Atom K3, and Atom K4.

The documents also reveal that the Atom K1 and Atom K2 variants are powered by a 98kg battery pack with a battery capacity of 7.4kWh, whereas the Atom K3 and K4 sport a larger battery pack weighing 145kg and 11.kWh capacity.

In addition to that, the leaked documents also reveal the electrical consumption of the Mahindra Atom and the Atom K1 and Atom K2 variants are rated at 90Wh/km, whereas the Atom K3 and Atom K4 are rated at 106Wh/km.

The leaked documents also reveal the exterior dimensions of the upcoming Mahindra Atom and as per the documents, the electric quadricycle from Mahindra measures 1,452mm in width, 2,728mm in length, and 1,575mm in height.

Apart from that, the wheelbase of the upcoming Mahindra Atom stands at just 1,885mm, which would give the quadricycle a very compact footprint for easy manoeuvrability.

Also, the documents reveal that the Atom K2 and Atom K4 variants sport AC, and as a result weigh around 15kg and 17kg more than their respective non-AC counterparts at 847kg and 903kg, respectively.

In terms of powertrain, the upcoming Mahindra Atom electric quadricycle is likely to sport a single electric motor with a peak power output of 10.72bhp and continuous power output of 6.7bhp.

We expect, Mahindra Atom to cover a distance of 80km to 110km on a full charge and have a topspeed of around 60km/h.
