Lamborghini claims that the Huracan Tecnica delivers the best of both worlds and is a poignantly versatile super sportscar for both road and track use. The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica is also one of the last few models from the raging bull marque before it starts electrifying its lineup in the near future.

The all-new Tecnica borrows the engine from its more track-focused sibling - the Lamborghini Huracan STO. The mid-mounted 5.2-litre naturally aspirated 90-degree V10 engine produces 631bhp at 8,000rpm and 565Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The Tecnica's engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.

Lamborghini claims that the Huracan Tecnica will sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The 0-200km/h sprint takes 9.1 seconds while the top speed of the Huracan Tecnica is 325km/h. The Huracan Tecnica will come to a full stop from 100km/h in just 31.5 metres.

Providing the braking power are ventilated and cross-drilled carbon ceramic brakes with 6 piston callipers at the front and 4 piston callipers at the rear. The brakes on the Huracan Tecnica measure in at 380mm up at the front and 325mm at the rear. The brakes sit behind new 20-inch diamond cut alloy wheels shod with Bridgestone Potenza Sport 245/30 R20 (front) and 305/30 R20 (rear).

The Huracan Tecnica features an updated driving mode setup. While the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica shares the same three driving modes - Strada, Sport and Corsa - the modes themselves have been tweaked to work with the Tecnica's updated aero and chassis setup.

In terms of looks, the Huracan Tecnica features an updated front bumper that is inspired by that of the Terzo Millenio concept with its black Ypsilon design. The Tecnica also features a new front splitter with vents on the sides that send cool air through the wheels which aid cooling and downforce.

The silhouette of the Tecnica is inspired by that of the Essenza SCV12. The Huracan Tecnica's profile is different from other members of the smaller Lambo family as the new supercar is 6.1cm longer than the Huracan EVO. The Huracan Tecnica also sports a vertical rear windscreen and fixed rear wing, the latter of which adds 35 per cent more downforce to the new car when compared to the Huracan EVO.

"The Tecnica ensures that the pilot enjoys the strongest connection to the car and asphalt, with the car's potential always at his fingertips for ease of use in every driving mode and environment: in an era of virtual experiences it pays homage to technical purity and physical sensation. The Tecnica completes the Huracán line-up, sitting perfectly between the RWD and the track-focused STO, flawlessly presenting technology, performance and the Huracán's V10 aspirated engine in a dramatically evolved design."

The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica marks one of the last hurrahs for the raging's V10 supercar. The Tecnica is a halfway house between the EVO RWD and the mental STO but is still quirky enough to be a unique proposition on its own. For now, the Huracan Tecnica is another brilliant rework of the V10 supercar that has become one of the best-known supercars in the world.
