Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Launched at Rs 4.61 Crore - Lunatic Limited Run Goodbye
Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has launched the Huracan Sterrato in India. The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is priced at Rs 4.61 crore (ex-showroom).
Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has launched the Huracan Sterrato in India. The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is priced at Rs 4.61 crore (ex-showroom).
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato sees the Italian supercar firm say goodbye to the Huracan and its iconic V10 engine. The Huracan Sterrato is limited to just 1,499 units worldwide and deliveries of the all-terrain supercar will start in the third quarter of 2023.
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is powered by the Italian marque's iconic 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that produces 602bhp at 8,000rpm and 560Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm that is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato sprints from 0-100km/h in just 3.4 seconds with 200km/h coming up in 9.8 seconds from a standstill. The Huracan Sterrato's top speed has been limited to just 260km/h to save its custom dual-purpose tyres and the all-terrain Lambo supercar can go from 100-0km/h in just 39 metres.
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato features three driving modes - Strada, Sport and Rally. The updated Strada (street) and Sport modes are specific to the new model and the all-new Rally mode is for the low-traction surfaces that the new Sterrato has been built to tackle.
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato features a wider front (+30mm) and rear track (+34mm) compared to the regular Huracan EVO and the ride height has also been lifted by 44mm compared to the EVO.
Speaking about the custom bits on the Strerrato, the supercar rides on custom 19-inch wheels that are specific to this model and they come shod in Bridgestone Dueler AT002 tyres that measure 235/40 R19 at the front and 285/40 R19 at the rear.
Braking duties on the Huracan Sterrato are taken care of by large 380mm discs at the front that are 38mm thick and are clamped down by 6-piston-aluminium callipers. The rear brakes on the Huracan Sterrato are 356mm in diameter and 32mm thick. The rear brakes are clamped down with four-piston aluminium callipers at the rear. All four brakes are ventilated and cross-drilled carbon-ceramic discs.
Speaking about the launch of the new Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato in India, Sharad Agarwal, Head of Lamborghini India, said "With the launch of the Huracán Sterrato, we are breaking into new grounds and staying true to our beliefs as a pioneering, daring, and inventive brand. It is the first time that Lamborghini India presents Huracán Sterrato to our exclusive group of discerning clients and media at a unique location out of our homeland at the Lamborghini Lounge Doha, Qatar. This reflects our commitment of providing unique and unparalleled brand experiences to our customers."
Thoughts About The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is the looniest of the Huracan lineup to date and it is the perfect sendoff for the Huracan and its iconic naturally aspirated V10 engine before the Italian firm goes down the electrification route.
