This Kia Customer Gets A Free Sonet SUV From The Dealership - Here's How
This "lucky" Kia Sonet owner is about to get a brand new Sonet SUV from a Kia dealership in Rajasthan.
However, there is a not-so-lucky story behind this Kia Sonet owner and a quite traumatising experience behind the joy of getting a new Sonet SUV from the dealership.
Diving into details, Mr Jalaj Agarwal purchased a Kia Sonet SUV less than a year ago. Recently, the SUV was left at a Kia authorised dealership in Jaipur, Rajasthan for general servicing. 6 days after Mr Agarwal had left his car for servicing, the service centre contacted him to inform that his car cannot be delivered as it had been involved in an accident.
However, in a bid to avoid blame and cover the tracks of their mistake, the service centre blamed the root cause of the accident on a cow, and Mr Aggarwal was informed to claim insurance for the repair process. However, this proposal was immediately rejected by Mr Aggarwal.
Soon, the service manager at this Kia-authorised service centre revealed a new version of the story claiming that the accident had happened inside the premises of the service centre, where the cleaner smashed the car into the wall, and the CCTV footage was also shown to Mr Aggarwal.
It was only after Mr Agarwal took the issue to social media, Kia Motors started more actively intervening in the issue. Finally, the Agarwal-Kia saga ended after promising a brand-new Kia Sonet SUV to Mr Agarwal from the dealership side to compensate for the loss.
While Mr Agarwal will receive a new car on behalf of the dealership as compensation, it is worth mentioning that such incidents shine light into the difficulties faced by customers. Moreover, it can be said that it was the power of social media that pushed for such a quick resolution in favour of the customer.
Thoughts About Mr Agarwal Receiving A Free Car From The Dealership
While Mr Agarwal will receive a free car on behalf of the dealership, this incident shines light on the mishandling of vehicles that have been handed over to service centres. Furthermore, the incident also clearly highlights the power of social media and the influence people have over such incidents.
