Jeep Compass Night Eagle Launched In India - Prices Start At Rs 21.95 Lakh

Speaking about the launch of the new Jeep Compass Night Eagle, Nipun J Mahajan, Head of Jeep Brand - India, said, "The Jeep Compass Night Eagle brings a new level of Boldness and Elegance with its all-black styling. The Jeep Compass Night Eagle gives the American a full murdered out black theme. The Night Eagle Compass SUV gets a gloss-black finish for the grille, grille rings, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rail, ORVMs, and fog lamp bezel among others. The roof is the only aberration to the theme and is a two-tone unit.

Step inside the new Jeep Compass Night Eagle and you'll be greeted by an all-black interior. Also seen is pure black cloth/vinyl upholstery for the seats with light tungsten stitching and black vinyl inserts for the door trim and IP. The interior also features piano black interior trim.

The Jeep Compass Night Eagle also features the full host of features found on the top-spec Compass (not including the Trailhawk) including the 7-inch instrument cluster, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

The Night Eagle variant of the Trailhawk also gets Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control as well as 6 airbags, Hill Start Assist, All-Speed Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Electronic Parking Brake to ensure those inside are as safe and comfortable as possible.

The Jeep Compass Night Eagle is offered with two engine options - a 2.0-litre diesel and a 1.4-litre petrol. The larger 2.0-litre diesel engine produces 168bhp at 3750rpm and 350 Nm of peak torque at 1,750rpm. The engine is offered with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The smaller displacement petrol engine is a turbocharged powerplant that produces 161bhp at 5,500rpm and 250Nm of peak torque at 2,500rpm. For the new Night Eagle version of the Compass, the 1.4-litre multiair engine is only offered with the 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

The launch of the new Night Eagle version of the Compass SUV comes just two months after the off-road mentalist version better known as the Trailhawk was launched in India. The waiting period for the Compass Trailhawk is now 4 months and the first batch of cars for the Indian market sold out in just two months.
