Hyundai Venue N Line Unveiled - Bookings Open
Hyundai is gearing up to launch the N Line variant of the Venue SUV in India and the bookings for the SUV have also been opened ahead of its launch in the country. With the launch of the Hyundai Venue N-Line SUV, the South Korean automaker aims to further boost its sales and also widen the N-Line product portfolio.
The unveiled images of the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV reveal numerous design changes to make the sub-4m SUV a bit more sporty than the standard model. Also, the booking amount for the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV is set at Rs 21,000.
Internationally, Hyundai offers N Line variants in cars such as i10, i20, i30, Elantra, Kona, and Tucson. However, the N Line variant is available only with the i20 hatchback in India and we expect Hyundai India to soon extend the N Line treatment to other models to further improve sales.
Coming back to Hyundai Venue N Line, unlike the previously launched Hyundai i120 N Line hatchback, the upcoming Hyundai N Line SUV is offered in two variants - N6 and N8. This will open the SUV to a wider audience as well.
In terms of exterior design, the upcoming Hyundai Venue N-Line SUV features similar changes as the Hyundai i20 N Line hatchback with sporty red accents on the lower half of the front and rear bumper. Other changes include a sportier dual-tip exhaust, N Line badges, contrasting Red accents on the roof rails and brake calipers.
To further differentiate the N-Line model from standard variants of the Venue SUV, Hyundai has even offered very sporty-looking alloy wheels as well.
On the inside, the upcoming Hyundai Venue N Line SUV sports an all-black interior with the N Line logo on various parts of the interior. Other than this, the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV also features red accents on the gear knob, centre console, dashboard, and door trims.
Also, to further accentuate the sportiness, the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV features metal pedals, paddle shifters, and red ambient lighting.
In terms of features, the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV comes with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity, BlueLink connected car tech, Bose audio system, electric sunroof, digital instrument cluster and many more.
The safety kit on the Hyundai Venue N-Line SUV includes 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors, hill assist control, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a few more.
Under the hood, the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV is powered by a 1.0-litre, turbocharged, petrol engine with 118bhp of power and 172Nm of peak torque. This engine comes exclusively mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Other than that, we expect Hyundai to re-tune the suspension for better handling and suit the character of the N Line variants.
Thoughts About The Hyundai Venue N Line SUV
The introduction of the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV is rightly timed by the South Korean automaker to make the best use of the sales push achieved during the upcoming festive season. We expect this model to attract more customers as the competition has become very strong.
