Force Urbania Bookings Open – Limited Dealers Authorised To Accept Bookings
Force Motors has opened bookings for the Urbania. The booking amount of the newly launched Force van is capped at Rs 1 lakh.
Diving into details, the new Force Urbania van is available in three different variants based on the length of the van - Short Wheelbase, Medium Wheelbase, and Long Wheelbase.
The Medium Wheelbase variant of the Force Urbania van can seat 13 adults and a driver. This variant is the least expensive variant of the Force Urbania van at Rs 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). In comparison, the Short Wheelbase variant of the Force Urbania van seats just 11 adults, yet it is priced at Rs 29.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Moreover, the wheelbase of this variant of the Urbania van measures just 3,350mm.
On the other hand, the Long Wheelbase variant of the Force Urbania van is the most expensive of the lot, costing Rs 31.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Furthermore, this variant of the Urbania van sports a wheelbase of 4,400mm and it can comfortably seat 18 adults, including the driver.
Speaking about the Force Urbania, the company claims that the new Urbania van is the country's first fully ground-up modular monocoque panel van platform in India and the model comes with a host of first-in-segment features. Moreover, the Force Urbania is the first van in India to achieve compliance with the new crash, rollover and pedestrian safety regulations.
In order to achieve such a feat, Force Motors has equipped the new Urbania van with safety features such as hill hold assist, ESP, ABS, EBD, ETDC, all-wheel ventilated disc brakes, dual airbags, and much more. On top of that, the model comes with features such as an independent front suspension with transverse springs.
Other noticeable features in the Force Urbania van include individual AC vents, reclining seats, sealed panoramic windows, individual reading lamps, multiple USB ports, a telescopic adjustable steering column, a large 7-inch touchscreen system with built-in Bluetooth and camera inputs, an engine start-stop system, reverse park assistance system and much more.
Powering the Force Urbania is a very reliable yet familiar Mercedes-derived FM 2.6 CR ED TCIC diesel engine. This 2.6-litre, turbocharged diesel engine produces 114bhp of peak power and 350Nm of peak torque. Moreover, this powertrain comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
It is also worth mentioning that not all Force Motors dealerships in India can accept bookings for the Urbania van, and the list of Force Motors authorised dealers that can accept bookings for the Force Urbania van is currently available on the company's official website.
Thoughts About The New Force Urbania
With the launch of the new Force Urbania, India's leading van manufacturer has geared up to take on the tough challenges ahead. Furthermore, the Force Urbania seems like a trustworthy option for the majority of fleet operators looking forward to upgrading their Force Traveller van.
