2022 Maruti Suzuki Eeco Gets Updated Interior With More Features – All You Need To Know

In a bid to further extend its dominance in the Indian automobile market, Maruti Suzuki has updated its Eeco van.

That being said, as part of the latest update, the 2022 iteration of the Maruti Suzuki Eeco van now not only gets more features, but it also gets an updated interior as well.

Speaking about the update to the interior, the new updated 2022 Maruti Suzuki Eeco now gets a new dashboard with minor updates such as repositioned hazard lights and a new steering wheel. Apart from that, the updated model also gets new storage space in front of the gear lever.

Other noticeable details include a more stylish-looking steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster with a small MID display. It is also worth mentioning that the new steering wheel of the updated Maruti Suzuki Eeco van now comes with an SRS airbag.

Speaking of airbags, the co-driver also gets an SRS airbag, however, this has resulted in losing the open cubby space in front of the co-driver as this place is now occupied by the airbag unit. The rest of the cabin of the updated Eeco van remains pretty much identical to its predecessor.

In addition to this, the updated Maruti Suzuki Eeco van now comes equipped with features such as a pair of new reclining front seats, and a much-require air purifier. Furthermore, the updated Eeco van also gets safety features such as ABS with EBD, child lock, rear parking sensors, illuminated hazard switch and much more.

However, the biggest upgrade to the new Eeco van comes in the form of a new powertrain unit. This new 1.2-litre, K12C, Dual Jet, Dual VVT, naturally-aspirated engine produces 80bhp of peak power and 104.4Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, there is also a CNG-compatible version capable of producing 71bhp of peak power and 95Nm of peak torque, and both engine options come with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard.
